General Information and Tour Conditions

Tour Price:
$4,290 p/person based on double-occupancy room
$4620 for travelers in single room

Included in the price of tour: All sightseeing tours, admissions and ground transportation as outlined in the tour itinerary, accommodation in top quality hotels with breakfast daily, other meals (with wine and water included) as outlined on itinerary. Programs accompanied by two guides (incs one local guide). Tours are designed for a group of maximum 15 participants.

Not included in the price of tour: Airfare, travel insurance (recommended for cancellation protection and health insurance), any meals not included on itinerary, other personal expenses.

Airfare: From US, you must depart at least the day before start date to arrive on time.

Meals: We will do our best to accommodate basic dietary requests, such as vegetarian meals or allergies, within the context of a group dining service. Please let us know specific dietary requests before booking.

Activity Level: Please be prepared for uneven pavement, walking in hill towns and stairs.

Passport Requirements: According to the US State Department, your passport’s expiration date must be at least 6 months beyond your date of departure from Italy.

Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit per person is required to secure your spot. Final payment of the remaining balance is due 10 weeks before start date. All payments in check or money order in US dollars. (Option of payment through PayPal with additional fees.)

Tour Cancellation: If due to low enrollment or other exceptional operational reason must cancel the tour, you will be notified as soon as possible and your tour payment will be fully refunded. In the rare case of emergency due to illness or otherwise and we are unable to accompany the tour, an adequate host will be provided.

Forced Cancellation: In the event of tour cancellation due to forces beyond our control, whether health-related, safety or other, clients will be refunded all payments with the possible exception of non-recoverable, prepaid program expenditures (if any).

Covid-19: Travelers agree to adhere to local regulations and procedures. We recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.

Responsibility: Taste Calabria does not own or operate the entities that provide goods and services during the tour and is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity, or of any third party. In addition and without limitation, Taste Calabria is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services, whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, third party negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, mechanical or other failure of means of transportation, or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
